After more than 40 years of experience in the world of high-end audio, listening to and owning hundreds of systems, learning the ins and outs of thousands of units, it is a natural consequence of reaching the end of the road when you think you have hit the highest level.

For many people, audiophile systems, assembled by hand from selected components, mostly custom-made, are a nebulous world of esotericism.
In a way, such custom built devices are the most useful means to create a sound without frills.
Their aim is to minimise the amount of components between the sound source and the listener, and to transmit only the information that is recorded.
Imagine listening to the smooth, even breathing of your child as he or she falls asleep. How many hundreds of watts of complex electronics with what kind of feedback would you feel are just right for reproducing the sounds of silence?
